ID TheftSmart™

Identity theft has become a persistent and growing problem that, unfortunately, has become a part of life. At First National Bank, we have a multitude of protection controls in place to ensure your accounts are safe. Please note, there are many other ways thieves can steal your identity that reach beyond our watch.

To help protect you, we offer ID TheftSmart™, a service provided by SHAZAM® the same trusted company that issues FNB debit cards, will help you monitor your credit or help restore your credit and identity if you become a victim of identity theft.

ID TheftSmart™ employs a team of professionals who can help with fraud if you have been a victim. For $2 per month, these professionals will help restore your ID once stolen using the following service:

Restoration:

If your identity is stolen, licensed ID TheftSmart™ investigators will:

• Confirm the crime and determine its nature and scope
• Help you obtain a police report
• Provide a tri-merged credit report and perform full non-credit searches
• Work on your behalf until ALL identity theft issues have been verifiably resolved
• Place seven-year fraud victim statements with credit reporting agencies, when applicable

Credit Monitoring with ID TheftSmart™

Credit monitoring covers all three credit bureaus. They look for changes in your credit report such as new account opening, credit inquiry, late payments, change of address and public record changes. You will receive an alert by email when one of these changes has been detected.

Credit Monitoring with ID TheftSmart™ comes with a cost of $10 per month and helps prevent identity theft and restore your identity if stolen. When activated, ID TheftSmart™ employs a team of fraud professionals who will help prevent fraud from happening with the following service:

Protection:

You will get direct access to professionals who will:

• Help you guard your credit and personal identifying information
• Give you safety tips for shopping online or using social media
• Explain your rights under federal and state laws
• Answer any questions you have about protecting yourself from fraud

Detection:

If your information may have been compromised, ID TheftSmart™ professionals will:

• Provide an action plan
• Help you interpret and analyze your credit report
• Set up a credit report freeze and fraud alerts on your behalf
• Assist when suspicious issues arise beyond ID TheftSmart™ initial findings

Restoration:

If your identity is stolen, licensed ID TheftSmart™ investigators will:
